Learn why the Drumstick Knife Bag stands out as one of the best knife bags on the market. Chef Aram reveals its excellence
We have been working closely with Chefs to make a Knife bag which is more functional in professional kitchen. During this we meet Chef Aram and he had some very interesting ideas and feedback from professional kitchen. Over next few months we converted nectar of discussions into design and then actually making the first few prototype. Chef Aram tested the prototype and shared the following review and picture of Drumstick Knife bag.
Hello, beautiful people. I come today to provide a little review of this gorgeous Drumstick Knife bag from The Hide Master. And a master he is, INDEED!
A little introduction: some time ago, he was asking what were Chefs looking for in a knife bag or Knife roll. I commented that I have been using a drumstick bag from ProMark, the Transport Deluxe.
After owning a very fancy but regular leather knife roll that a fellow colleague gifted me as a farewell present, I found it somewhat limiting. The pockets would only fit some handles/knives and the space was only limited to knives.
I’m a professional Chef and I need to carry a diversity of tools and equipment, not just knives. But, since I commute a lot, I also needed something more compact and easy to carry than your common knives case.
After asking around at KKF and other places, some users suggested me a drumsticks bag. It seemed to be just the ticket! And you bet it was…
The practicality of it is unparalleled to anything else I have seen/tried. If any professional needs something compact to carry a variety of knives and other indispensable tools, this is the way to go, IMO.
Now, going back to Dubey’s post, he contacted me and asked what I liked about the bag and what I thought could be improved. And this is what he did…
It is magnificent piece of work, Drumstick Knife Bag! Really, no kidding! Everything in this bag oozes quality. The leather, the stitches, the strap, the bags, the zippers… This is made with a lot of care! Plus, he made it a little bit bigger so it could carry larger knives or knives with sayas, since it is one of the points I told him that could be improved.
BTW, there is space for more knives, tweezers, scissors, spatulas, spoons, besides what you see in the pictures.
I can only thinking him for, first, putting all his knowledge and craft into creating something that is not only beautiful, but extremely functional. And last but not the least, for considering my input and even making possible for me to experience this beautiful product from him.
TL,DR. If any of you guys need a knife bag that is extremely functional and compact with tons of quality and beauty, this is the way to go.
I’ll try to answer any questions you may have about it.
Also, sorry, English is not my first language. But I tried my best 🙂 .
